About this game
Hail to the king: the shareware episode that sold the Build engine and made Duke a legend — L.A. Meltdown, from the rooftop to the stadium, shrink rays and pipe bombs included. The complete, unmodified file set from the official shareware CD.
SOURCE — obtained from archive.org
LICENSE — Shareware Episode One (v1.1) — the license in the package (LICENSE.DOC §3[B]) expressly permits online services 'including BBSs, and WWW and FTP sites' that are free to make the game available for downloading, provided all files are included without modification (§3[C]); this bundle ships the CD's complete DUKE3D file set exactly as released. The CD's separate Terminal Velocity shareware is not part of this title and is excluded.
